Kiruna vandrarhem ligger mitt i Kiruna centrum och är sedan november 2009 medlem i Sveriges Vandrarhem i Förening, SVIF. Detta gör att man har samma logipriser oavsett medlem eller icke-medlem i föreningen. Hög standard, fri Internet-uppkoppling och möjlighet att köpa frukost. Kiruna Vandrarhem är ett av de större vandrarhemmen i Swedish Lapland och kan välkomna upp till 100 gäster till boende med fullt utrustade kök och bastu.

Med det centrala läget har man Sveriges vackraste byggnad år 2001, Kiruna Kyrka som nära granne. Inom 3 minuters gångavstånd ligger köpcentra, restauranger och kultur, och 5 minuter från vandrarhemmet breder den fria naturen ut sig.

    Hej, I'm arriving the Wednesday 21th by plain from Stockholm. Thereafter we have plans to go to Abisko and return over the Kungsleden to Kiruna on the 29th. I have an excess on luggage which I do not need on the Kungsleden but afterwards on another trek (Sårek). Can I leave some luggage (guarded) in the Tourist-center or elsewhere? Thanks for helping me out. Daniel.

    I was staying in this hostel from Aug 26 to 28 and honestly: NEVER AGAIN! The house is run-down, both the kitchen and the rooms were dirty, at night drunken men were shouting and slamming doors (oh yes, alcohol is forbdden IN the hostel so they were just drinking outside), the staff was extremely unfriendly. It changed from STF to SVIF, and ridiculously, the STF posters still hang in the rooms, partly with overpainted logos! Does the SVIF have not even posters of their own??? (By the way, the STF blankets are still on the beds ...) In all, this hostel is a disgusting place, never ever again I will go there.

    I DONT RECOMEND THIS HOSTEL TO NO ONE. PEOPLE OF THIS HOSTEL ARE PIRATES, AND THEY ABUSED OF THEIR CUSTOMERS. THIS IS THE WORST HOSTEL WHERE I EVER HAVE BEEN. First, we did a reservation for 2 nights not in a row for the beggining of February. We did our reservation before christmas and the price was 200 krones per person (even we paid a deposit). We paid 200 krones per person the first night we were there, but when we cameback 1 week later they told us now is 250 per person, because they have new prices for 2013!!!....?? excuse me?...I work for a hotel and I know this is ilegal, if you have done a reservation with a accorded price, this excatly that you have to pay and the hostel cant change this. But after be there 2 hours, I was talking with other CUSTOMERS and I finally i knew why did we pay more, there was a course in Kiruna about astronomy or something similar and they were abusing of prices, they got 50 krones more per person (25% more than the normal price is the incremente for 2013?).The bed was broken, the room dirty, the bed cloth also....I DONT RECOMEND THIS HOSTEL TO NO ONE. PEOPLE OF THIS HOSTEL ARE PIRATES, AND THEY ABUSED OF THEIR CUSTOMERS.
