The shortest way to the top is the eastern trail – a trip that also includes some climbing, but you don’t need special experience to participate in this tour. This is a guided tour that starts from the Mountain Station. It starts with a steep rise from the glacier of Kebnetjåkka. On the plateau before the glacier of Bjorlings there will be a lunch break. Then you cross the glacier until you come to the “Gudjohnsen shelf” and up in the Southern gulf to the old Top-cabin. After that the tour goes on to the South Top of Kebnekaise and then back again. You often rutch down the glacier of Kebnetjåkka on the way back. Normal trained people can make this tour without problems.
