Snowmobile trip to the ICEHOTEL (6 hours)

Ride the snowmobile over frozen and snow covered lakes directly into the wilderness…… You drive on glittering snow over swamps where you experience the silence and beauty of untouched winter landscapes.

You follow the guide on the tracks to Poikijärvi and cross the deeply frozen and snow covered Torne river where the ice for the sculptures of the Icehotel is taken from. The guide will take you to the famous Icehotel, where you can follow a guided tour.

Important note!
You can buy the entrance ticket in the Ice Hotel Reception. After 1,45 hours we meet you again to drive back to Camp Alta.

Included:
Transfers from and back to your place in Kiruna, snowmobile clothing, 38 km guided tour, a brief driving introduction, (duration aprox. 6 hours).

    It was a really good snowmobiletour to the Icehotel,it was a nice mixt track through the forest but also over lake and rivers so we could speed up little,the Icehotel was amazing,and in the end of the tour the kindly and professional guides cook reindeermeat and potato over the open fire for us,it was great.

    I have been with some friends on the snowmobiletour to the Icehotel with Camp alta company,it was a really good tour,lots of nice snowmobiling after nice tracks,the visit of the Icehotel was 1 hour and 45 minuites(the Icehotel was amazing),we hade also a typical sami lunch cooked over the open fire(reindeermeat and potato)(really nice). The guides were really kind and proffesional.I highly recomend this tour.

    Jag och min familj har varit på denna tur till Ishotellet idag,turen är mycket bra,otroligt bra och roliga guider,bra service och mycket fin skoterkörning.Vi besökte Ishotellet ca 2 timmar,och det var alldeles utmärkt.Turen avslutades med lunch (renkött o potatis samt lingonsylt),denna tillagades över den öppna elden.

    Wonderful experience!! me and my family have been in Kiruna some days, we have spent some days in Campalta and we have enjoyed so much snowmobile ice hotel tour!! really well organized tour!! they have provided us really warm clothes!! the lunch was delicious!! we will return back next winter for sure!!!     The best snowmobile tour with difference, the service was really competitive and profesionals, they were so attentive, we have been in Campalta in february really cold month, they have equiped us with really thick overall, gloves, boots, 3 pair of socks!! and 3 pair of gloves!! gorilla mask, googles, scarf, etc...we didn´t expected so brilliant service!!

    We have been in Campalta with a big group of students, everything was really well organized, clean and in order, it´s small cozy place but we a fantastic service, they are really helpful, the tours was the best!! special the snowmobiles, really fun!
