Ice fishing with snowmobile
Join us on an ice fishing trip to one of the mountain lakes you find in the riruan area. Ice fishing is a big passion of the local people during the winter and spring time. To sit on the ice in the brilliant sunshine and wait for the biggest fish is a very peaceful experience.
We start to go with car from Camp Ripan to the village of Laukkuluspa. Then we go with snowmobile along the River Kalix and up into the majestic mountains. We might see moose’s and reindeers along the way and if weather permitting we will have a good view of Sweden’s highest mountain, Kebnekaise, in front of us. If we catch some fishes we will cook them directly, otherwise we will have a Lappish lunch in front of a warm sparkling open fire.
