The cave Kåppasjokka has one of Sweden’s longest cave systems. During the winter season it is an exciting adventure to crawl in to the parent rock and discover rippling streams decorated with stalagmites and stalactites.
Provided the snow cover is sufficient we go by snowmobile taxi all the way to the cave. If not we walk part of the way up there. After a thrilling journey we put on our headlamps and the adventure begins.
Since the caves are situated up in the mountains you should be able to walk uphill for a couple of kilometres. Recommended minimum age: 10 yrs.
