The sled dogs howl with excitement as they finally set off. Calm descends on the dog team as soon as it starts and there’s almost complete silence. The only sound to be heard is the panting of the dogs and the sound of the runners against the snow. The wind bites your cheeks; the air you breathe is clean and clear. Feel the stress leave you and allow yourself to be taken in by the Lapland wilderness where the northern lights, the white snow and moonshine are the only lights to show you the road ahead.

One highlight is to take the family on a snowmobile tour with a nice cup of coffee over an open fire. Or visit the Sami culture, and maybe feed the reindeer. Icehotel with its beautiful ice sculptures will fascinate young and old alike.
When the spring sun slowly starts to warm and the snow is a metre deep, we open our well-known mountain centres with Sweden’s best skiing. Set off down the pistes, go on a tour or try snowshoes.
