Ski Alpine adventure and cozy up in the mountains

Ski Alpine adventure and cozy up in the mountains

In the midst of Sweden's high alpine centre, at the foot of Sweden's highest mountain, lies STF Mountain station Kebnekaise. Enjoy good food, adventure in alpine terrain and snuggle up by the fire.

The Midnight Sun!

The Midnight Sun!

In the end of May you will be able to see the midnight sun again! It's visible until the middle of July. From an everlasting darkness during the winter we will now go into a period that's the complete opposite - when the sun is shining both day and night.

Interested in hiking?

The hiking season is soon here, but there is a lot of snow in the mountains right now that is melting. During this time it can be a lot of water in the streams, you have to be really careful if you need to pass them, they can be really deep.
It is wonderful to hike up in the mountains from end of June, in some parts you might even have to wait until the beginning of July, when the water is gone and the tracks (hopefully) are nice and dry.  www.svenskaturistforeningen.se

Have a nice hike!
