In the end of May you will be able to see the midnight sun again! It's visible until the middle of July. From an everlasting darkness during the winter we will now go into a period that's the complete opposite - when the sun is shining both day and night!

LKAB Visitor Centre

Kiruna Lapland Tourist Office arranges guided tours all year round to the LKAB Visitor Centre. A popular tour that takes you down into the world’s largest underground iron ore mine. This tour is unique, as it gives you the chance to visit a productive mine. The mining is still one of Kiruna’s most important industries.

Kiruna Church

A wooden church from 1912, in the shape of a Sami lávvu. By architect Gustav Wickman. The altar painting by Prince Eugen. Recently voted Sweden’s most popular building of all time.

Kiruna City Hall

The architect was Arthur von Schmalensee. The building houses an art collection and often hosts exhibitions. In 1964, the building was awarded the prize for the most beautiful public building in Sweden.
