Riksgränsen, 130 km from Kiruna, opens a little later than the other resorts, but it stays open all throughout May. It also re-opens traditionally during Midsummer! There are many slopes for different levels of skiers in Riksgränsen, even if it’s probably most known for nice offpist skiing. There are also opportunities to go heli-skiing into the month of June! The summer season starts after midsummer, and the area around Riksgränsen is well suited for hiking and biking tours. More information at
