There is no road to Kebnekaise – it ends in Nikkaluokta – but it’s still relatively easy to get there. In winter you can go the 19 kilometres by skis or by snowmobile transfer, and in summer you can hike the whole way, take the boat one part of the road, or take a helicopter up to Kebnekaise Mountain Lodge. It offers accommodation, restaurant, and a number of activities around the mountain lodge. Once at Kebnekaise Mountain Lodge you will find a base for more activities than just climbing Kebnekaise.
