Action-packed dog team trip

11

There are many who would say that the best way to experience nature is to slide almost silently through the snow on a sled pulled by huskies.
We’ll ride across rolling terrain through forest and across lakes. Here, you’ll see the dogs in their element, at top speed across and up into the hills at full strength.
We stop by a Sami Lapp cot and enjoy coffee and snacks around a hot fire.

Price: Adult SEK 995, student SEK 850 & children 0-12 years SEK 495.

Including: Guide, transfer, warm clothes, coffee/tea, sandwich & cookie.

Availability: Nov 2012 - April 2013. Daily, day trip 10.00-13.00 & Northern lights tour 18.00-21.00.

Meeting point: Your hotel.

Amazing experience as you glide along a scenic winter wonderland thanks to a team of beautiful and friendly huskies. Thumbs up to our fantastic guide and his anectodes about dogsledding and life in the arctic. We really appreciated the coffee break around the fire at the lavvu as well. Definitely a trip to do when in Kiruna. And a good spot for northern ligots too! Five stars!

Went on that trip with my wife on our honeymoon. We couldn't have picked a better tour as the trail is very picturesque. The huskies are great and well taken care of. We were even lucky enough to see a few reindeer along the way. A must do!

We were a group of exchange students and flew directly from Stockholm to do this trip. It was amazing to slide along a winter wonderland as some fresh snow had just fallen. The dogs are very fit and so excited to run. Thumbs up to our friendly guide who had so much to tell about mushing and life above the arctic circle. A good tour to do if you want to see northern lights...
